Drainage technologist with federal certificate of competency

The three-year basic education offers practically and theoretically gifted young people and adults the opportunity to obtain a federal title. Adults can catch up on basic vocational training using alternative methods.

Drainage technologists are mainly active in cleaning, emptying, inspecting and renovating drainage systems in private and public areas. In this way, they make an important contribution to urban drainage and to the maintenance and smooth functioning of drainage channels (manholes, canals, lines and pipes).
